Ken & wife Joan joined Sunshine Coast Hog when it began in 2004, were in the Brisbane Chapter at that time. First Harley was a Softail Deuce, put 115,000 km's on her in just over 4 yrs. Now on our third Ultra since with over 100,000 km's combined, all these km's have been the most memorible time of our life.

Sunshine Coast Hog has been a huge part of that with many new freinds and freindships made within this Hog family and travelled on many great trips throughout Australia together. ( thanks )

Living on their farm near Yandina since they were married 27 yrs ago life revolved around the Goat Dairy we had. Like any dairy it was alot of work with not much leisure time. When going for supplies to Brisbane each month, Ken would call in at the Harley shop for a look. One day he said to Joan we better get you a helmet we've bought a Harley.

It was the lease on life they needed, every chance they got that Harley was out eating up the km's seeing Australia. Taking on the role of Head Road Captain will be a great experience, helping members to organise club rides.
